Today, I realized that we have been sleeping on the wrong side of our mattress for a whole year.
I thought we were not sleeping as well, because we have a baby. I figured that's just one of the things you give up when you have kids.
A few weeks ago, Shanna let us test out her memory foam bed. We were thinking it was so nice, because you didn't feel springs on your back, and actually felt soft. That was going to be one of our first purchases when we get out of debt.
Since I'm painting the bedroom, we slept on the floor in the living room last night. I woke up refreshed, because the floor was so much more comfortable than our bed.
Then I realized that our mattress has been upside down all these months. Before I went in to labor, we had put the mattress in a rubber sheet in case my water broke. We must have flipped it over, when we were removing the sheet, right after the baby was born.
So now, it's like we have a brand new bed for free.

Dang Quesadillas
Eve told me that the tortillas at Trader Joe's are really good, and she's right! I got the sundried tomato tortillas, and just figured out what to do with them. Quesadillas.
This is what I did:
Cooked ground turkey with minced garlic and spices in a pot
Saute'd chopped green peppers and onion.
Put a tortilla in another pan with butter and shredded cheese on top
Added the cooked turkey, peppers and onion
Shredded more cheese on that
Tortilla on top, and flip.
TJ's also has other flavored tortillas. They're not all hard and thick like the ones at the grocery store. They're even good to eat plain.
